Jorgie Porter admits using the 'fake freeze' during an awkward Internet date
She's been dating during the lockdown
Hollyoaks actress Jorgie Porter joined us on Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, James and Producer Matt by Zoom this morning (6th May), and revealed how she's been getting on with dating during lockdown.
Like many of us, Jorgie has been staying at home, but that hasn't meant that she hasn't been able to do some dating, and according to the 32-year-old, some of her conversations have been getting very deep!
Jorgie, who is best-known for playing Theresa McQueen in Hollyoaks told us how some of them have been like "therapy sessions", going on for up to four hours.
"I've been going on these dating video calls to be quite honest," Jorgie started, "I've actually found that I've got into deep chats, sometimes I'm on for like four hours!"

The actress also revealed that they would chat about their backgrounds and interests, as well as playing games. And, when prompted by James about what type of games, Jorgie explained, "I'll expand! I'm a big lover of chess - I know that sounds..." Unusual!
Jorgie went on to admit that she once used her wifi as an excuse to stop a call early, because it just wasn't working out. "This is a confession, I've actually done this," Jorgie confirmed, "It was just not going right and I just went, 'er...'."
Giving us her best impression of the signal freezing when she was on video call, Jorgie went on to reveal it was a little awkward.
