Last week, Jonas Blue and Paloma Faith dropped their new song 'Mistakes', a long overdue collab, so Hits Radio's Jordan Lee decided to catch up with the pair, asking them how it came about.

Speaking to Jordan, Paloma revealed that the pair first 'met' on Skype as they were both so busy. The singer is extremely busy at the moment, working as an actress on the TV drama Pennyworth, as well as a coach on The Voice Kids AND a mum, whereas Jonas has been performing around the world.

Getting the pair together proved quite hard, but that didn't stop them releasing a fantastic song!

Despite it being hard to find time in the studio together, the pair have produced a fantastic song, and Paloma revealed that she would love to go on tour with the 'Fast Car' DJ.

"I'd like to go on tour with him, I think we'd have a laugh," Paloma revealed.

"It would be a mess," Jonas joked.

And, although Jonas is started his tour on 2nd March, sadly Paloma won't be able to join him as she's super busy with acting, coaching and being a mum.

The song, 'Mistakes' was written by MNEK and Boy Matthews with Jonas admitting he's relied on MNEK to work closely with Paloma in the studio, as he's been away performing around the world.

"This was a song that got sent to me in a demo form last year, when I was in Ibiza around August time," explained Jonas, "I just fell in love with it!"

He went on to explain how both him and Paloma, "Both loved it, and I think that's such a great thing about this song because it's been a collaborative effort."

Jonas continued, "And I think the other thing about this song as well, is that the people who have been involved with this have been in those situations, like every other normal person."

"The reason it starts acoustic and finishes acoustic is because you really want to get those emotions out there."

With Paloma Faith adding, "The song really speaks for itself, that's the most important thing about it. It wasn't about my name or Jonas' name, as much as it was about the song."

Jonas started his 'Blueprint' tour on 2nd March and a few weeks ago when he joined Jordan at Hits Radio, he revealed there would be a surprise in store for his fans.
