INTERVIEW: Stevie McCrorie on winning The Voice

The singer is debating whether to quit his day job

Stevie McCrorie has opened up about recently winning BBC’s biggest talent search, The Voice.

The 30-year-old singer, who is still currently a fireman, spoke to In:Demand Showbiz about his rising celebrity status, new music and buying a pint for his friends at the fire station where he works.

He compares leaving The Voice to ‘starting his first day at school’ and admits he may have to leave his current job to follow his dream of being a pop star.

Meanwhile, Stevie also reveals that his mentor on the show, Kaiser Chiefs frontman Ricky Wilson, has offered to give him all the advice he needs to succeed.
