Dua Lipa recently delighted fans when she performed at Tomorrowland, a huge, predominately dance, music festival in Belgium, however, in a now deleted tweet, she has upset a number of other female artists. According to screenshots of the tweet, Dua Lipa said, 'First ever international female artist to play Tomorrowland!!! Such an insane experience.'

But a number of other female artists who have also played at the festival replied to Dua, pointing out that what she said wasn't entirely accurate.

Female DJ Rezz, replied to Dua's original tweet saying, 'Damn her management should prob have enlightened her a bit before posting this LOL Many international female artists have played Tomorrowland.' sic

With fellow female DJ, Alison Wonderland, replying, 'Are we not artists too? haha', to which a fan joked, 'No you guys are aliens'.

Whilst Dua has now removed her original tweet, her photo on Instagram, with a similar caption, has now been reworded to say 'singer' rather than 'artist'.

Despite being quick to change her wording, many fans also picked up on what she had originally said, leaving comments such as, 'Pretty sure Krewella would be the first international girl singers to play Tomorrowland. 💁🏼‍♀️ try again.', sic 'it says singer, I guess she realized her mistake and changed the caption and deleted the tweet' and 'isn’t alison wonderland a dj??'. sic

Dua Lipa performed for the first time at Tomorrowland on Saturday night (21st July), having a 45-minute set on the amazing STMPD RCRDS stage. She sang many of her massive hits, including 'Blow You Mind (Mwah)', and her collaborations with Calvin Harris ('One Kiss') and Martin Garrix ('Scared To Be Lonely).

Having finished the UK leg of her tour earlier this year, Dua Lipa is now travelling around the world performing at a number of festivals. Her most recent release, with Calvin Harris, 'One Kiss' has seen phenomenal success this year, and not only did the song stay at Number 1 for eight consecutive weeks, it became the second longest-running number one of the century by a female artist, behind Rihanna's 'Umbrella'.
