Dua Lipa reveals she has some inspirational NEW 'New Rules'

This morning (1st November) Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, Greg and James were joined by Dua Lipa, who has just dropped some new music! The pop star, known for her anthems 'New Rules' and 'One Kiss' with Calvin Harris, has been teasing her new music called 'Don't Start Now' and we really wanted to know more about the new sound.
Dua told us she's been dying to get new music out to her fans, "It's definitely more disco, nostalgic vibes that are going on, on this next record," Dua explained, "It's still pop, and I still feel like it's very much me."
The new addition to heat's Rich List admitted that she got the influence from her new sound from her song with Calvin Harris, 'One Kiss' and her collaboration with Silk City, 'Electricity'. "I just loved doing those songs so much," Dua revealed, "It kind of felt like a natural progression."

When quizzed on her new album, Dua wouldn't reveal the name, or the release date, however she could tell us that around the end of November, beginning of December, we'd get some more information. She also revealed the name and a video for the title track, will be released just for fun, "For the fans".
Dua Lipa's song 'New Rules' was her first song to get to Number 1 back in 2017. In her song she lists the rules as, 'Don't pick up the phone', 'Don't let him in' and 'Don't be his friend'. So Fleur, Greg and James wanted to know if Dua has any NEW new rules since the release of her hit.
It was just last week that Dua deleted her Instagram posts in preparation for her new album. and Dua revealed one of her updated new rules was, "Delete everything from your social media when you feel like it."
She told Hits Breakfast, "It felt liberating...it felt really good to start a new era."
Dua went on to say that a lot of her NEW, new rules are round social media including, "Invoking a 'be kind policy'," because it can be both a toxic, and amazing place.
She went on to explain, "It's trying to figure out for everyone how we can all kind of reclaim our place on social media, so we can all have a better time."
