Craig Revel Horwood reveals who he thinks will win Strictly and why he'll NEVER sit next to Bruno Tonioli
He told us all about it!
Strictly Come Dancing's resident Mr. Nasty Craig Revel Horwood dropped by Hits Radio Breakfast with Fleur East, Greg and James - and, in his own words, was "thoroughly adorable"! Discussing the fact that he's much nicer in person than he is on the show, Craig revealed plenty of Strictly secrets - including who he thinks will win and why he NEVER sits next to fellow judge Bruno Tonioli.
Chatting to us about the show, Craig admitted that he'd love to see Michelle Visage win. "I’m really loving it, particularly Michelle Visage. I think she is just diva and fantastic and really good at dancing - I mean, she is so detailed, I can’t tell you! It’s amazing."
Craig added that Michelle had been leaving her professional partner Giovanni Pernice "shaken up"! He continued, "She’s so demanding, she wants to get it right - she doesn’t want to go out there looking like an idiot and I can understand why, with 10 million people viewing her!
"She’s got a reputation to protect because she’s a judge herself, so I think that doubles the pressure, you know, and I think she’s doing brilliantly well."
Craig also said that he thought former Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher was doing very well, saying that it was "a bit of a shock" since he'd come to the show late, "proving that his hips are not from the Iron Age, are they? They’re loose, they’re lascivious, darling, and we love that!"
When pushed, Craig admitted that he'd like to see Michelle win, "Well, I would put my money on her if I was going to be betting - of course, I can’t, because I’m impartial as a judge!"
The judge also revealed that he was loving working alongside new judge Motsi Mabuse, "I love her, I totally love her vibrancy, I love the energy she brings - she’s had nine years experience in Germany, so she knows exactly what she’s talking about. I think she’s a great personality on the show, I get on with her really well - even though the press say we don’t!"
Craig was also quizzed over his relationship with fellow judge Bruno Tonioli, confessing that he never wants to sit next to his friend! "I said in my contract that I would not sit next to him. I said, 'If you change me from the end, darling. I will not be down'.
"I can’t be next to that! He grabs, he’s standing up every time... We started this in 2004, that was 16 years ago and he never used to stand up then! But now look, look what America has done to him, you know? It's being under the rule of Trump that does it."
The Strictly star also confirmed why he wouldn't be appearing on the new UK series of RuPaul's Drag Race... Throwing shade at Graham Norton in the process! "They wouldn’t pay enough money. Graham Norton will accept that sort of rubbish money but I won’t. Just telling you the truth, and sometimes as you know it hurts!"
