Fans of reality TV couple Chloe Ferry and Sam Gowland were left shocked earlier this month, when the Geordie Shore stars confirmed they'd split out of absolutely nowhere.

Despite Chloe calling out Sam for 'following other girls' just hours after their split, many fans believed they'd reconciled their romance, after spotting them posting some very similar holiday snaps.

However, don't get your hopes up, as Chloe has taken to her Instagram Story to slam the claims, revealing the real truth about their current relationship status.

She said, “To answer everyone’s question… me and Sam are NOT back together. Yeah, we live together, but that’s because we’ve got a mortgage together. We can’t just chuck each other out.

“And why are we on holiday together? Because we work together and Sam’s best friend is here."

The pair, who first started dating when Sam left the Love Island villa in 2017, confirmed they'd split on social media on (Friday 10th May), with Chloe addressing the shock news on her Instagram Story.

She wrote, 'It hurts me to say this but me and Sam have gone our separate ways. We are still friends. Things carry on as normal. Bring on Saturday for the shop opening.' sic

Things then seemed to take a sour turn when she called her ex-boyfriend out for trying to move on. Crying as she spoke to the camera, Chloe said, “I cannot get over I have nearly been with Sam for two years and we haven’t even been broke up for 24 hours and he’s already done that. I can’t think of doing anything worse than that to him."

We can barely keep up! 🙈
