Cheryl dropped her brand new single, 'Love Made Me Do It', this morning (9th Nov). Cheryl released 'Love Made Me Do It' this morning, but spoke out about the track before it was released, confirming that it was categorically NOT about her ex-boyfriend, Liam, with whom she shares 20-month-old son, Bear.

Speaking to Jessie Ware on her Table Manners podcast, Cheryl explained, "All the music and all the songs that I’ve got ready were done way before we split, none of them are about anybody. I wasn’t sat writing a love poem to anyone or about anybody.

"It’s something that anyone who’s been in love will be able to relate to in some way or another. It’s catchy and it’s fun. It’s not about one specific person or relationship, it’s more about me being the lover of love that I am. I just love love!"

Cheryl will be performing 'Love Made Me Do It' at Hits Live in Manchester on Sunday 25th November in a line-up that also includes Little Mix, Ellie Goulding, The Vamps, Zara Larsson, Mabel, Rak-Su, and James Hype at the Manchester Arena. Tickets here:
