Celebrity chef and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Simon Rimmer joined the Key 103 breakfast show this morning to talk about learning to dance, but of course food wasn't far behind.

Simon is definitely more at home surrounded by quality food than dancing, so Gemma, Matt and Mike asked the 54-year-old where he would eat out in Manchester.

Whilst Simon owns a number of restaurants around the world, including vegetarian restaurant Greens in West Didsbury, he said that there are loads of great places to eat in the area.

"Randall & Aubin on Bridge Street that opened a little while ago, that's really good! Lots of seafood, it's quite elegant," Simon said.

He then went on to say he also rated Cottonopolis in the Northern Quarter as the head chef there was one of his protégés.

Simon was joined by his professional dance partner Karen Clifton on Key 103 when they were quizzed about the strict training regime. Karen said she was "pleasantly surprised" with Simon's dancing, but admitted he could do with improving his flexibility.

Whilst Simon is used to live TV, he said it's what he is doing that he's worried about, going on to say he was "terrified" about the live show on Saturday. Poor Simon!

Last week Simon announced his first dance would be a Paso Doble to Blur's 'Song 2' and we can't wait to see how the performance goes.

Meanwhile Gemma is busy practising her Cha Cha to Shawn Mendes' 'There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back' which has been stressful for the breakfast presenter.

Yesterday she admitted to Matt and Mike that she had almost broken down after trying the same step over and over again, but failing to get it right.

Gemma has been paired up with Slovenian dancer Aljaz Skorjanec who previously won the dancing show with model Abbey Clancy in 2013. Describing herself as 'Bambi on ice', Gemma has been taking her training very seriously, but the pressure has been getting to her.

Despite the pressure Gemma and Simon have been training near each other which has meant that the pair can support each other. They have become good friends over the past week, with Simon even describing Gemma's dancing as "brilliant".
