Cate Blanchett has a dramatic transformation for a new art exhibition
The exhibition in Melbourne sees the actress become a homeless, bearded man and a news reader.
Cate Blanchett has taken the unusual step of featuring in a new art exhibition in her hometown of Melbourne, Australia.
Like all actors and actresses she is used to going through transformations for various film roles, however this time it's quite unbelievable.
Working with German artist, Julian Rosefeldt, a video installation was created showing Cate in various guises.
Taking on 13 different roles The Hobbit actress transformed into a school teacher, tattooed rocker and perhaps most shockingly a homeless, bearded man!

Speaking in a recent interview Julian spoke of Cate's professionalism saying she has "profound experience and incredible talent".
He went on to explain that she "retained her very special sense of humour" under the challenging circumstances which included using 12 different accents and filming within a tight time frame. The videos were recorded in Berlin last winter in less than two weeks.
The exhibition will take place in the Australian Centre for the Moving Image, Melbourne who have tweeted a few stills from the videos.
The exhibition takes place between the 9th December 2015 and 13th March 2016 and is free to the public.
