Pop star Camila Cabello has admitted that she struggles with being sociable, digitally active, and often 'forgets' how to interact with strangers.
In a recent interview with the digital magazine The EDIT, she said, "I forget how to interact with people socially. Usually I don't want to go out and meet a new person - even if it's a boy I like, I try and make an excuse. It's constantly something that I have to push myself to do."
The 'Havana' singer revealed she was more confident socially when she was a part of girl group Fifth Harmony, which she left in 2016.
She credited her ex-bandmates saying, "I would not be the person that I am right now; I would not have been ready for this. I feel like being part of a group teaches you so many things about yourself, ironically."
However, she hates social media and it's just down to her not being a "very public person".
She confessed, "I hate social media, I only go on Twitter to interact with my fans, and you know because it's part of my job. It's part of me representing my work and realistically it's just a part of today. But I'm not really a very public person, I'm not on there talking all the time. How I speak out about things that are important to me, is through my work, through what I do."
Camila's self-titled debut album is out now and it has already broken records by becoming the first ever debut album to reach number 1 in over 100 countries on iTunes! The singer took to Twitter to share her excitement saying, 'Gonna go celebrate with some croquetas that my album is #1 in 100 countries!!!!!!!!' sic accompanied by a beautiful picture of her in Miami.
Camila also posted a letter addressed to her fans, the Camilizers, saying how much she wanted to thank them for believing in her.
'As I'm typing this, I'm terrified, I'm nervous, I can't organize my thoughts' sic she said, continuing, 'And I can't steady my heartbeat, because my first album has come out and it's in your hands.
Camila left Fifth Harmony in 2016 and has enjoyed solo success with hits such as 'Bad Things' and 'Havana'.
