Bruce Willis pictured with new granddaughter in heartwarming pics
It was for a Father's Day tribute
Rumer Willis, the daughter Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, has shared some cute photos of her two-month-old daughter Louetta, being cuddled by the Die Hard actor.
The photos come as part of a Father's Day tribute to her dad, who was diagnosed with Frontotemporal Dementia earlier this year. Rumer wrote on Instagram: 'Fathers to the old and new.
'Seeing my father hold my daughter today was something I will treasure for the rest of my life. His sweetness and love for her was so pure and beautiful. Papa I’m so lucky to have you and so is Lou. Thank you for being the silliest, most loving, coolest Daddio a girl could ask for. Best Girl Dad in the game….'
Rumer then went on to pay tribute to her partner, celebrating his first Father's Day writing: '@derekrichardthomas Happy 1st Father’s Day Thank you for building a beautiful garden for Lou to play in and eat from. 🌱
'Thank you for filling the house with music for her to hear 🎶 Thank you for all the late night diaper changes and silly faces. I’m so grateful our girl has a papa that loves her so much and someone so goofy and weird so she knows that’s ok for her to be too.
'Thank you for the greatest girl I could imagine in my wildest dreams. We love you 🧡 '.
Derek replied to Rumer's tribute saying: '❤️❤️❤️ love you baby ❤️❤️❤️', and other fans took to the comments writing: 'The way she is looking at him is so pure and beautiful- true love ❤️ thank you for sharing.' and 'Happy Father’s Day to both men in your life!!! What a beautiful picture of your daughter with her grandpa, made me think of my dad who is no longer with us, cherish every moment. God bless you all!!!'
Earlier this year, it was revealed that Bruce Willis had been diagnosed with dementia, having revealed last year that he would be retiring due to a 'diagnosis of aphasia'. In March 2022, Rumer took to social media to share a family statement explaining the actor's decision to step away from acting.
Bruce is best-known for playing lead roles in films such as Die Hard, Pulp Fiction and The Sixth Sense.
