International superstar Bebe Rexha dropped by Hits Radio HQ earlier this week to chat to the Hits Radio Breakfast team about her brand new single 'Harder' - a collaboration with Jax Jones. Even though it's only been out a week, it's already a certified banger, and fans are loving it!
Bebe, who is best known for hits, revealed that she has a secret talent - she can actually play the trumpet! Admitting that she played for eight years before giving up because it "wasn't cool", she then confesses that it would be hard to keep up her instrument playing with her nails...
But the 29-year-old also had some sage advice to share, and told the team all about her body positivity mantra. Opening up on body positivity, Bebe says, "There’s only one of you in the world. You’ve got this. No matter what comes your way you’ve got this. You’ve got to be positive. You’ve got to say nice things to yourself. I say that.
"We always give other people compliments, but we never give ourselves compliments. We always tell other people their hair looks pretty, but we never... We never say nice things to ourselves.
"So if we said one nice thing to ourselves every day - and it's corny, but I think if you say one nice thing to yourself... And it's an ongoing thing. If you're not feeling yourself, nobody else will!"
So true!
