They aren't on our TV screens right now due to the Coronavirus, but lovable Geordie duo Ant and Dec have been keeping themselves busy, and now they've surprised one of their biggest fans, five-year-old fundraiser Tony Hudgell.

Tony was admitted to hospital just 41 days after his birth, after suffering 'horrific abuse at the hands of his biological parents'. The life-threatening injuries suffered led to Tony being just 'seconds from death', with injuries including multi-organ failure, toxic shock and sepsis.

Due to the extent of his injuries and complications, in 2017 Tony had both of his legs amputated and after seeing Captain Tom Moore's amazing fundraising earlier this year, Tony was inspired to complete his own challenge, in turn raising money for Evelina London Children's Hospital.

Tony set himself a challenge to walk on crutches every day in June to reach 10km, and as he reaches his final day today (Tuesday 30th June), Tony has raised an inspirational £1 million for the NHS!

Ahead of his final walk, Ant and Dec surprised the little hero via a video chat, with his parents posting the adorable clip to Tony's Twitter page.

The boys tell him, "Hi Tony! Ant and Dec here, we just wanted to send you a message to say what an amazing thing it is you’re doing.

"Oh, absolutely amazing. You are a hero. Listen, thank you so much, keep up the good work and we're sending you lots and lots of love. Thanks, Tony!"

The final part of Tony's walk will be live streamed on YouTube at 2.30pm today (Tuesday 30th June), dubbed 'Tony's 10K final celebration walk'.

Well Done Tony! 🙌
