Anne-Marie opens up about her new single 'Lonely' with Hits Radio Breakfast

Anne-Marie spoke to our Hits Radio Breakfast team this morning, discussing her brand new single 'Lonely' with Lauv. However, it wasn't exactly a conventional interview - as Fleur East was drip-feeding questions for Greg Burns to ask into his ear!
Pushing him to see just how far he'd go, Fleur was getting Greg to ask Anne-Marie about the most bizarre things - which fabric conditioner she uses, even asking her to describe her own feet!
However, Anne-Marie answered the strange questions very well - joking with Greg that she "hardly" washes her clothes or herself "in general", and when he asked for her number using her own lyrics, she agreed to give it to him... But only if he promises not to call her!
When it came to her feet, Anne-Marie said, "I like my feet actually, I think I've got quite good feet considering I've done karate all my life! I thought I'd be quite rubbish but I feel like they're quite nice, a small size four! I can get junior shoe sizes so that's half the price."
Of her new single, Anne-Marie revealed how it came about, "Well he's amazing! I met him not long ago honestly, I've loved his music and his songwriting and I feel like we’re quite similar songwriters. Like we’d write the same thing, it would come out of both our brains if that makes sense."
She also opened up about how she disguises herself so that she won't get recognised when she's out and about - and had a hilarious story about her nose! "When I go out, I get quite worried about being recognised because I'm quite anxious about it. This one time I went out in Germany and it's really cold, I had the excuse of wearing a hoodie and a coat and a scarf and everything.
"I had my hoodie wrapped around my face - you know when you got the tightening things so it's literally like the smallest little hole on your face? I was doing that, so I was walking round the streets with that as my face and a girl actually recognised me from my nose! I was like I literally can’t do anything!"
