Anne-Marie was on Jordan Lee's show tonight (13th February) and after seeing her tweets about J-Lo, parrots and potatoes, he just HAD to ask her what they were all about. Back in December 2019, Anne-Marie showed her love for Super Bowl performer J-Lo saying, 'I hope I look like 50 year old Jenny from the block at 30'.

Explaining her tweet further to Jordan, Anne-Marie said, "I mean, who don't want to look like that! I hope I look half as good as her at 30... I think she's a robot!"

The conversation then turned to another seemingly random tweet that Anne-Marie shared where she said, 'I might get a parrot'.

While it might seem random, Anne-Marie revealed she thinks they're incredible, explaining that her grandad had a parrot when she was younger. "They speak English and we don't care!" she explained, "And they're also like the most colourful thing ever.

"I might get a parrot, I mean everyone's getting dogs. I might just whack a parrot on my shoulder..."

Then, perhaps the most random tweet from the amazing Anne-Marie was about potatoes, you know, that versatile vegetable that we all know and love in the shape of crisps, fries, roasties and so much more. Tweeting, 'I don’t think we appreciate the potato enough' Anne-Marie told Jordan the real reasons behind her tweet, laughing, "It can be anything!"

Anne-Marie has just dropped her new song 'Birthday' admitting that she was inspired by Mariah Carey having an ever-popular Christmas song which gets played each year. She revealed her thoughts on her new single, "I'm going to have a birthday song and get it played every day!" she joked, "Not just on Christmas Day."

The singer who recently announced her new music with newly dyed pink hair explained how she feels now, having changed for the better with her album, "I went into the second album writing with people I'd found through writing the first album," Anne-Marie told Jordan.

"I found them, stuck with them and have written loads of new music with them. So it just feels bigger!" We can't wait for the new album to arrive with Anne-Marie's new single 'Birthday' already out.
