Coronation Street actor Alan Halsall and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson have reportedly 'split' for the second time after nine years of marriage.

Alan, who plays the role of Tyrone Dobbs in the popular soap, has reportedly vowed to stay friends with Lucy-Jo, with their split being 'very amicable'.

A source reportedly revealed that the pair still really care for each other, with it being a very difficult time for them both.

Alan and Lucy-Jo first met when they both appeared in Coronation Street in 2002, with the actress playing the role of Katy Harris.

After a number of years dating, the couple then married in a stunning ceremony in 2009 and then welcomed their daughter Sienna-Rae into the world in 2013.

If new reports are true, this will be the second time Alan and Lucy-Jo have split up.

The couple briefly split in 2016 after admitting they'd lost their 'spark'. Despite this, the pair rekindled their romance just a few months later and have seemed happy ever since.

In June last year, Lucy-Jo shared a photo of herself and Alan from their wedding day with the caption, 'Happy Anniversary Baby, 💜 8 years today I married my best friend @alanhalsall. I love you 💙 xxx' sic

Despite the new reports, Alan and Lucy are yet to respond publicly.
