Adele regrets watching Amy Winehouse documentary
She says it made her feel 'uncomfortable'
Singer Adele says she regretted watching a documentary about Amy Winehouse's life.
Speaking about Asif Kapadia’s film Adele said she’d never intended to watch it until she read a review of it. The 27-year-old admitted it made her emotional but she felt uncomfortable hearing voicemails of the late singer.
Both singers went to the Brit School in Croydon but weren’t friends as they went there at different times.
The ‘Skyfall’ singer credits her career to Amy Winehouse, saying she was inspired by Amy’s debut ‘Frank’ adding that if it wasn't for the star, she wouldn’t have picked up a guitar and might have become a doctor instead.
She says she grieved for her when she died but came to realise what a great impact the 'Back in Black' singer had on her life.
Adele made a huge comeback with ‘Hello’ which is No.1 on the iTunes Single Chart in 85 countries and got a whopping 27.7 million views in its first day, beating the record set by Taylor Swift with 'Bad Blood'.

'Amy' was released around the world in July 2015.
