The singer helped two lucky fans get engaged.
Adele kicked off the start of her world tour in style when she encouraged an excited fan to propose to her boyfriend live on stage.
The ‘Hello’ singer began her tour at Belfast’s SSE Arena where she played a huge part in helping two fans get engaged. Adele welcomed Hayley onto the stage to celebrate the famous Leap Year, where traditionally woman can propose to their boyfriends.
After it was revealed her partner Neil replied with a “maybe” when Hayley popped the question earlier in the day, the crowd and Adele herself did their best to encourage an answer. After the crowd began to boo Neil’s ‘maybe’ reply, Adele shouted “You have to say yes, Oh my God they’re turning.”
Adele then used the help of the 11,000 strong crowd to conduct the proposal saying “After three everyone say ‘Come on Neil’, much to the delight of the crowd.
