British stars pick up several Golden Globe nominations

The Golden Globe nominations are in! Revealed live from The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California, the nominations were revealed in 25 categories, including Best Motion Picture – Drama, Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy and Best Motion Picture – Animated.
It was Netflix who led the nominees with a phenomenal 34 nominations, across film and TV, for a variety of titles including, The Irishman, Marriage Story and The Two Popes, all being nominated for Best Most Picture - Drama.
And, when it came to British stars, Christian Bale, Taron Egerton, Olivia Colman, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emma Thompson and Cynthia Erivo have all been nominated.
