As The BRIT Awards 2022 with Mastercard draws closer, we look back at some of the best bits from the show last year! From Little Mix's incredible speech to Olly Alexander teaming up with Sir Elton John, this year was one to remember!
Although last year's BRIT Awards was a little different to usual, we enjoyed seeing live music and our favourite stars on the red carpet!
1) Little Mix show off their baby bumps on the red carpet
Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock showed off their baby bumps alongside Little Mix bandmate Jade Thirwall.
2) Coldplay open the 2021 BRIT Awards!
Coldplay opened the BRIT Awards by performing their new single 'Higher Power' on the River Thames.
3) You have no authority here Jackie Weaver!
Yes, you read that right. Handforth Parish Council's Jackie Weaver helped to open the show alongside Line of Duty stars Vicky McClure and Martin Compston.
4) Where is Harry Styles?
We spent all night looking. Was he hiding behind one of Little Mix? Was he running late? Was he at the bar? We finally got a glimpse of Harry Styles when he picked up the award for British Single for 'Watermelon Sugar'. His suit did not disappoint.
5) Taylor Swift recognised with Global Icon award
Taylor received the prestigious Global Icon award at this year's Brit Awards and she made an incredible speech to say thank you!
6) Sir Elton John and Olly Alexander perform 'It's A Sin'
Sir Elton John and Olly Alexander from Years & Years performed a special edition of Pet Shop Boys' classic 'It's A Sin' after the popularity of the TV series broadcast earlier this year.
7) Little Mix make BRITs HISTORY
Little Mix became the first British female band to win a BRIT for Best Group! They made an amazing speech on receiving their award.
8) Thought the Sea Shanty craze was over? Think again...
'Wellerman' star Nathan Evans performed a special sea shanty to open this year's BRIT Awards!
9) P!nk and Rag'n'Bone Man pay tribute to the NHS
P!nk and Rag'n'Bone Man were joined by the NHS Choir for a special performance of their track 'Anywhere Away From Here'.
10) Dua Lipa takes top prize for Best Album
Dua Lipa has had a whirlwind of a year so far and it doesn't seem to be slowing down as she took home the top prize for Best Album.
11) The Weeknd thanks his UK fans in winners speech
The Weeknd thanked his UK fans in his speech after receiving the award for International Male Solo Artist.
