Woman charged following Hedon collision involving young child in a pushchair

41 year old accused of driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol

A 41-year-old woman has been charged with driving whilst over the prescribed limit of alcohol following a collision in Hedon earlier this week.

Catherine Williams of Haven Staithes, Hedon was charged yesterday, Wednesday 18 September, and is due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court next month.

At around 3.30pm on Tuesday, 17 September, it was reported that a car travelling along Haven Basin Road had collided with man and a pushchair containing a young child.

As a result of the collision, the child fell from the pushchair and suffered what are thought to be minor injuries.
