Boys aged 14 and 16 charged with rape and suffocation

Two boys aged 16-years-old and 14-years-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons due to their age, have both been charged with rape, false imprisonment, actual bodily harm and suffocation.

The 16-year-old has also been charged with sexual assault and harassment.

During the investigation a 17-year-old was arrested and has since been released without charge.

Both individuals have been remanded into custody and were due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court yesterday (Saturday 12 July).
