Two charged over suspected cannabis grow in Grimsby

An estimated £800,000 worth of cannabis was discovered at vacant business premises

Two men have been charged after a suspected cannabis grow was uncovered in Grimsby.

Police were called to a vacant business premises on Bull Ring Lane on Tuesday.

Besjan Limani, 33-years-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with production of a class B drug and abstracting electricity without authority.

Spiro Visha, 48-years-old, of no fixed abode, has been charged with production of a class B drug and abstracting electricity without authority.

Both men were remanded into custody to appear at Grimsby Magistrates Court today.

Upon entering the premises, police officers discovered an estimated £800,000 worth of cannabis plants and £100,000 worth of equipment.
