A man has pleaded guilty to multiple sexual offences which took place in Grimsby.

Last year, Ken Lee, 45, of no fixed abode, was walking with a woman when he pinned her against a wall before sexually assaulting her.

In a separate incident, he tricked a 12-year-old girl into helping him look for something in his bag before sexually assaulting her.

Following his arrest, Lee was taken into custody where he indecently exposed himself to officers.

Appearing at Grimsby Crown Court, Lee pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault on a child, one count of indecent exposure and one count of sexual assault.

Detective Constable Lucy Proctor-Eckley said: “Lee is a perverted individual, who believed he could act for his own sexual gratification and face no repercussions.

“He has shown no remorse, and disregarded the impact which his actions has had on the victims, their family and the wider community.

“I would like to praise the victims for coming forward and for the bravery and courage which they have shown over the course of the investigation.

“We take all reports of sexual offences extremely seriously, and we will continue to do all that we can to ensure offenders are brought before the courts.

“It is never the victim’s fault, and I would encourage anyone who has been a victim of sexual offences to please report it to us.

“When you are ready, we will listen to you, we will believe you and we will support you.”
