Police searching for a missing man in Goole

Police are appealing for information following the disappearance of a man in Goole.

Emergency services have been searching the river near Boothferry Bridge.

A spokesperson for Humberside Police said:

"Officers were called to Boothferry Road in Goole following reports of a concern for safety of a man at 6.50pm yesterday (Friday 5 July).

"Alongside the underwater search team and the coastguard, officers remain in and around the area continuing to conduct lines of enquiry.

"We would appeal to anybody who was in the area last night who may have seen a man described as white, wearing a grey hoody with dark baggy jeans or has dashcam footage to please contact our non-emergency number 101, quoting log 460 of 5 July."
