Plans for nearly 50 bungalows in Bransholme submitted
If approved, they'll be on the site of an old primary school
Plans to build 48 new homes have been submitted to Hull City Council.
The application proposes plans to build 48 dormer bungalows on a 1.5 hectare piece of land to the south of Snowden Way, North Bransholme.
Access to the bungalows is planned to provided by a new road off Snowden Way near Compass Academy.
The site was formerly Dales Primary School which was closed in 2006. A two-storey building on the land was demolished in 2023 leaving just two artificial grass sports pitches which the planning statement suggests have not been used since 2015.
The planned 48 bungalows seek to meet the specific needs of over 65s, a demographic that is quickly rising in Hull.
Now submitted, the planning application will be reviewed and considered by Hull City Council before its fate is decided.
