Men arrested amid 'burglary in process' in North Lincs

Humberside Police have arrested two people after being called out to a burglary in progress in the early hours of this morning.

They say it happened at a commercial premise on Barton High Street - with police on the scene 'within minutes'.

When they arrived, they located two suspects believed to be involved in the offence.

In a statement, officers confirmed: "Both males were searched under section 1 of the police and criminal evidence act and were found to be in possession of what are believed to be stolen items.

"Both males were subsequently arrested and taken to Birchinway custody.

"Over ÂŁ600 of stolen items have been recovered which will be returned to the victim."
