Man charged after Grimsby hostel roof damaged
Police were called to reports of tiles being thrown on Tuesday
A man's been charged in connection with an incident on Hope Street in Grimsby on Tuesday (21st May).
Police were called around 9.25pm to reports of tiles being thrown from the roof of Harbour Place on Hope Street, with a cordon put in place to protect the public.
The 55-year-old, of no fixed abode has been charged with affray, assault, assault of an emergency worker, racially aggravated public order, three counts of criminal damage and public nuisance.
He's been remanded into custody and is due in Grimsby Magistrates Court today (23rd May)
