Ashes continue to be returned to families as part of Legacy funeral case
Local MP Emma Hardy has confirmed 148 sets of ashes have now been returned
The MP for Hull West and Haltemprice has posted online to say police have confirmed that 148 sets of ashes have now been returned to the correct families since the Legacy Funeral Directors case began.
In a statement on Facebook Emma Hardy says Humberside Police have also submitted evidence and will provide an update on charges as soon as possible.
Three people arrested in connection with the case remain on bail.
She encouraged anyone affected by the situation to reach out to the support line which has been set up.
