Traffic delays on the Humber Bridge in Hull are expected for the next three days. That's as works are being carried out on the Bridgehead site nearby.

Traffic management has been installed at the A164/A15/ Wingfield Roundabout, with some lanes closed.

Drivers are being advised by the East Riding of Yorkshire Council to allow more time for their journey if using the bridge.

A Humber Bridge spokesperson said: "Traffic management has been installed at the A164/A15/ Wingfield Roundabout to carry out works on the adjacent Bridgehead site. This has resulted in a reduced running lanes, causing traffic delays.

"The traffic management company has advised that the restriction may remain in place for the next three days.

"Whilst we have no control over this restriction, we recognise that it is currently impacting users travelling northbound and this will continue, especially during peak times."
