East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire's General Election 2024 results
There's been a Labour landslide nationally but a mixed picture in our region

The results for the nine seats around East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire have come back in from the General Election.
A landslide victory has put Sir Keir Starmer on course to get the keys to Number 10.
His party's majority is guaranteed to be more than 100.
The Labour leader says the country can now "get its future back" - adding that "change begins now".
Outgoing prime minister Rishi Sunak conceded defeat after a "sobering" night for his party saw 11 senior ministers lose their seats.
Defence secretary Grant Shapps, transport secretary Mark Harper and education secretary Gillian Keegan were among the casualties.
Hull East - LABOUR
Labour hold for Karl Turner with a majority of 3,920 - receiving a total of 13,047 votes.
His closest rival was Reform UK, who received 9,127
Hull North and Cottingham - LABOUR
This is a newly created seat, with a lot of the former Hull North seat.
Labour's Dame Diana Johnson held her position with a majority of 10,679.
She was followed by Reform UK.
Hull West and Haltemprice - LABOUR
Another new seat in the region, made up of the former Hull West and Hessle seat and parts of Howden and Haltemprice.
Emma Hardy took the seat for Labour, after a recount confirmed her 8,979 majority.
Beverley and Holderness - CONSERVATIVE
A very narrow win for the Conservative strong hold.
Graham Stuart had a majority of 20,448 from 2019, but after a close call with Labour, has retained the seat with just a 124 seat majority.
Goole and Pocklington - CONSERVATIVE
A new seat in East Yorkshire, made up aspects of Brigg and Goole, East Yorkshire and Haltemprice and Howden.
Long standing MP Sir David Davis will take this seat, with a majority of 3,572.
Bridlington and the Wolds - CONSERVATIVE
Some boundary changes to the old East Yorkshire seat here.
Charlie Dewhirst from the Conservatives have taken the reigns of Bridlington and the Wolds.
The Tories received 14,486 votes, followed by Labour with 11,721.
Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes - LABOUR
A former Labour strong-hold, turned blue in the 2019 election, and returned to Labour with Melanie Onn receiving a 4,803 majority
Scunthorpe - LABOUR
Similar to Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes, Scunthorpe has returned to its historic Labour roots following a switch to the Conservatives in 2019.
Sir Nic Dakin receives a 3,542 majority
Brigg and Immingham - CONSERVATIVE
Last but not least, the final seat for East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.
Another new seat, made up of much of the former Cleethorpes constituency, except the town centre.
It's gone to Conservative Martin Vickers, the former MP for Cleethorpes.
