Two teenagers have been arrested following reports of suspicious activity in the area of Bottesford
Police were called to Sunningdale Road yesterday evening (Tuesday, 5 August), at around 11.45pm.
There were reports that two teenagers had concealed a bike in a bush and were wearing balaclavas.
Officers attended the scene and stopped two teenage boys who matched the description given. A search was carried out, and officers reportedly found a knife, tools, a hammer, and a nail pad in their possession.
Earlier during the evening (Tuesday, 5 August), police had received reports of a burglary at a nearby property, where a nail pad and a jet wash had been taken.
A 16-year-old and a 13-year-old boy have been arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, going equipped for theft, and burglary dwelling.
Both remain in police custody at this time.
