Suspected drunk driver arrested after Pursuit in Hull

A man has been arrested following a short police pursuit in Hull on the evening of Tuesday, 27 May.

Roads Policing Officers were on patrol in the Anlaby Road area when they requested the driver of a red Skoda Octavia to stop on Granville Street. The driver failed to comply and a brief pursuit followed, ending when the vehicle came to a stop on Longden Street.

A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of failing to stop, dangerous driving, and drink driving. He remains in custody while officers continue their enquiries.
