Woman and two dogs die in Derby house fire

A woman and two dogs have died following a house fire in a Derby suburb.

The 35 year old woman was discovered on Friday morning at an address on Merlin Green in Sinfin.

She sadly died at the scene alongside two dogs.

A joint investigation by Derbyshire Police and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service is underway/

So far officers say there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.

On Friday 6 September at 11.10am police in Derbyshire were called to reports of a fire on Merlin Green in Sinfin, Derby.

Officers attended the property and a 35-year-old woman and two dogs were found deceased.

A joint investigation with the fire service is underway but there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances.
