'Minor fault indication' blamed for this morning's grounding
A plane has had to make an emergency landing at East Midlands Airport.
The Jet2 flight bound for Fuertaventura took off from Leeds Bradford Airport earlier this morning and touched down at around 10am.
The airport says the landing was dealt with in line with their emergency procedures.

"The aircraft landed safely, and customers will be transferred onto a standby aircraft and flown to their destination.”
Operations Director at East Midlands Airport Simon Hinchley said: “A flight had to make an emergency landing at East Midlands Airport this morning, this was dealt with in line with our emergency procedures.
"We are working to ensure the affected passengers can continue their journey as soon as possible.”
