Nottingham grassroots football club appeal after minibus stolen
Second Chance F.C are appealing for the public's support after their minibus, containing kits and goal posts, was stolen
A local grassroots football club who 'lost everything' after their minibus was stolen is now appealing for the help of the public
Second Chance F.C is a Nottingham based grassroots football club, aimed at giving child refugees a place to make friends, keep active and get involved in the beautiful game.
After the minibus was stolen on Saturday 14th June, along with the football kits and goal posts, the club has had to cancel their weekly training, meaning that many children are missing out on getting to play a game they love with their friends
We spoke with the clubs owner, Michael Mandaza about the important work the club do
"The people we impact don't money and struggle with getting public transport
"We are not just a football club, we've changed people's lives
They look forward to training every week and they look forward to the matches every Saturday"
The club are now looking to raise £900 in order to re-buy football kits for all the different ages, and football goals and equipment for the club

Michael, who has a masters degree in coaching from Nottingham Trent University, continued to say:
"We are looking for any donations from the Nottinghamshire public to help us
"Parents who cannot afford a football for their son."
"The minibus was the source of our blood as a team, we would travel all over to play football matches
"With the help of other clubs, we bought football boots and goal posts- that have now been stolen"
