Man charged with murder after pensioner stabbed in Derby
A man has been charged with murder after an 82-year-old was stabbed on Whitecross Gardens in Derby.
A man has been charged and is due in court today (10 Sept) after a pensioner was stabbed in Derby.
Gerard Ring, 82, was attacked on Whitecross Gardens where he lived at around 2:20pm on Saturday (6 Sept).
He was taken to hospital in a critical condition and died yesterday morning (9 Sept).
Julian Donoher, 50 and also of Whitecross Gardens, has been charged with murder. He has been remanded in custody to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates' Court today.
