A man has been charged in connection with an attempted robbery in Derby.
The incident occurred in Walbrook Road at around 4.20pm on Tuesday 1 October when a man allegedly stole cash and attempted to steal a handbag from a woman.
Baldeep Singh, 33, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with attempted robbery and theft from a shop.
He appeared at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court on 4 October when the matter was adjourned and he was remanded in custody.
