A man from Hucknall has been charged with a series of offences including burglary and fraud.

It follows reports of a home being targeted on a number of occasions since October. One incident alleged a man barged into the victims home, assaulted them and stole cash.

3\2 year old Jamie Beeston appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (12 December).

Nottinghamshire Police say it's in relation to the same victim’s home, in Hucknall, being targeted on a number of occasions during October, November and December 2024.

On 19 October the man awoke to discover an intruder had been inside his home and cash had been transferred from his account using his unlocked mobile phone.

Beeston, of Chatsworth Drive, Hucknall, has been charged with robbery, two counts of burglary and three counts of fraud by false representation.

He was remanded in custody until his next appearance at Nottingham Crown Court on 9 January 2025.

Detective Sergeant Elina Falcon, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:

“Robbery and burglary are both offences which can have a deep emotional impact on victims.

“That is why the force has teams of detectives working hard to investigate and place suspects before the courts.”
