Fire fighters tackle industrial blaze in Kirkby-in-Ashfield
Residents urged to keep doors and windows closed
An investigation is due to get underway into the cause of a large fire at an industrial unit in Kirkby in Ashfield.
One building was severely damaged in the blaze on Urban Road last night. By 10.30pm, 6 fire engines were on the scene.
Residents living nearby were told to keep doors and windows closed.
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue has said the incident has now been scaled back, with crews damping down.
A fire investigation is scheduled to take place later today.
