Derbyshire Police charge teenager over murder of Dale Martin

The 17 year old is now the 7th person charged over the 21 year old's death

Derbyshire Police have charged a teenager over the murder of a man in June.

The 17 year old who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Friday 19 September and has now been charged with murder.

They're now the 7th person charged over the death of 21 year old Dale Martin, who is alleged to have died after being stabbed in a late-night incident in Stenson Road, Littleover.

He has been remanded in custody and was expected to appear at Southern Derbyshire Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

The other six people who've been charged with murder are:

Jayden Manion-Roberts, aged 25, of Tennyson Street, Derby.

Keenan Hamblett, aged 26, of Osmaston Park Road, Derby.

Ki Grant-Finlayson, aged 22, of Addison Road, Derby.

Kayin Holmes, aged 24, of Nightingale Road, Derby.

Kelci Thompson, aged 18, of Osmaston Road, Derby.

Shaylon McCalla, aged 26, of Copes Way, Derby.

Police have also charged two women with assisting an offender.

Bridget Hamblett, aged 57, of Osmaston Park Road, Derby, and Asha Waddilove, aged 20, of Ashworth Avenue, Derby, have both been released on bail.
