Body found in search for missing Sturminster Newton man
Dorset Police have located a body in the Newton Hill area

A body has been found in the search for a missing man from Sturminster Newton.
Damian, aged 23, was reported missing having been seen last in the area of Station Road at around 3am on Saturday 17 May 2025.
At around 12:45pm on Saturday 24th May, Dorset Police located a body in the Newton Hill area.
While the body is still yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be Damian and his family have been informed.
The death is currently being treated as unexplained and HM Coroner has been notified.
Temporary Detective Superintendent of County CID, Nicky Jenkins, said: "Our thoughts are very much with the family and loved ones of Damian at this extremely difficult time.
"I would like to thank all those involved in the search efforts to locate him, including the Coastguard and volunteers from Dorset Search and Rescue.
"There will still be an increased police presence in the area as police activities continue."
