Blandford bike shop targeted in attempted burglary

A man tried to get in through a smashed window at Offcamber Cycles

Police are appealing for witnesses following an attempted burglary at a bike shop in Blandford.

Between 10.45pm and 11.00pm on Tuesday (23rd July), it's reported that a man attempted to gain entry to Offcamber Cycles in Salisbury Street.

The window was damaged, but he didn't gain entry.

The man is described as wearing black shorts, trainers and a dark-coloured lightweight jacket.

PC Ashlea Gale, of Blandford Neighbourhood Policing Team, said:

“I understand there were a number of people in the area at the time who may have witnessed what happened.

“I would like to hear from anyone who may have information about the incident to help my enquiries.”
