Tributes paid to Plymouth man who died in collision

Tributes have been paid by the family of a man who died following a collision in Plymouth.

63 year old Stephen Hawnton, sadly died at the scene on North Prospect Road last Friday.

Paying tribute to him, the family said: “Us as a family are heartbroken and in utter and complete shock for the passing of Steve.

“He was truly the most kind, caring and genuine man that you would have ever met. The best Son, Husband, Dad and Grandad. He will be missed by all that new him especially us a family.

“We would like to extend our thanks to all the emergency services and local residents for all their help and support on the day we will forever be grateful.

“Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts, until we meet again all our love forever and always xx.”
