Girl, 9, seriously injured in Paignton crash

Collision occurred between car and pedestrian on Marldon Road

A 9-year-old girl from Paignton was seriously injured in a crash involving a car and a pedestrian on Marldon Road.

The crash occurred around 5:20pm on Monday, 4th May.

The girl was airlifted to hospital following the incident, and her family have been informed.

Marldon Road was temporarily closed as police investigated the scene.

The Devon and Cornwall Roads Policing Team have expressed gratitude towards the public for their patience during the road closure.
