Two children injured after M6 crash near Henley

Two children have been injured after a crash on the M6 near Henley overnight.
Emergency crews were called just before half past midnight to the northbound stretch between junctions two and three, where they found a car on its side.
A girl was treated for serious injuries and taken to Birmingham Children’s Hospital, while another young girl was taken to University Hospital Coventry with minor injuries.
West Midlands Ambulance Service say they were called at 12.29am to the M6 Northbound between junctions 2 and 3 at 12.29am and two ambulances and a paramedic officer attended the scene.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman says: “On arrival, crews found a car on its side.
“The first patient, a girl, was found outside the vehicle.
“Ambulance staff treated the child for serious injuries before she was conveyed to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
“A second patient, also a young girl, was treated for minor injuries and was conveyed to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.”
