Lineside fire affecting Coventry train services

Train services between Coventry and Birmingham International are being affected by a lineside fire this afternoon (Thursday 3rd April).

Firefighters were called out to a blaze next to the track at Tile Hill at around 12.30pm today.

All the lines have been closed there while the incident's dealt with.

National Rail say Avanti West Coast, CrossCountry, London Northwestern Railway, West Midlands Railway are being disrupted as a result.

They've said services may be revised or cancelled, with major disruption expected until 3.00pm.

Passengers are asked to check before they travel.
