A school in Warwick has been evacuated, following reports of a threat being made.

Warwickshire Police say all students are out of the building and are safe - with parents being asked not to attend the school whilst emergency services respond.

Myton Road, Warwick, has been closed all afternoon whilst inquiries into the incident are ongoing.

On their social media, Myton School say they received a "vague threat via email against our school," which caused staff to evacuate all buildings to keep students and staff safe.

Students were moved off-site via Warwick School, the school said.

The school went on to commend the behaviour of students, saying: "The children have been nothing short of amazing in their attitude and behaviour in what has been a challenging situation. Any students remaining on-site are perfectly safe and we are working with the Police and other services."
