A conservatory fire in Nuneaton has severely damaged two properties.

Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service were called to Vale View at around 6.00pm yesterday evening (Tuesday 1st April).

The large fire spread to neighbouring properties and firefighters remained at the scene until the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 2nd).

The blaze affected the roofs of two houses in a block of four terraced properties.

No-one was hurt in the incident.

Stockingford Community Centre has opened its doors for affected residents, offering refreshments and facilities last night.
